Volleyball Season

Volleyball season can be considered well underway, as we are three days into our annual summer camp. Half of the girls in attendance will be trying out for my volleyball teams, and all are very talented! Even the ones brand new to volleyball are shaping up incredibly well. Today, we grouped the athletes into teams of differentiating ability levels and allowed the teams to scrimmage. It is always so rewarding to hear a new volleyball athlete describe how exciting it is to get a serve over the net, or to nail a pass during a game! This is why I love being a health and physical educator. Looking forward to the year ahead!

Some of the ideas I'd like to implement this year (and will ...
